Gus and Rachelle were married on a most gorgeous November day in Carmel Valley, at one of my favorite venues, Holman Ranch. Having an autumn Holman Ranch wedding means vibrant leaves on the vines through the vineyards, the most idyllic weather anyone could ask for, and a reason to eat some doughnuts by the fire at the end of the night amid all the dancing and mayhem. (At least that’s what they did!)

I adore outdoor ceremonies for the light alone, BUT I do have to admit I never tire of a Spanish style Missions. This couple was married at the beautiful and historical Cathedral of San Carlos Borromeo in Monterey, CA before heading to Carmel Valley for their reception. Thier getaway car was one I wouldn’t be angry if another couple repeated. Vintage. Mercedes. Convertible. (All the heart emojis!)

Lastly, if you look at my Wedding Tips (Part 1 and Part 2) on other posts here you’ll see that Rachelle got dressed in the most perfect spot! Lots of light, windows, and beautiful clean light walls. As you can see, it pays off!
